Privacy notice
This notice explains how Terrain (operated by Oliver Wigdor, "we", "us") handles personal data you give us when you register your interest on this website.
Who we are
The data controller is Oliver Wigdor (United Kingdom). For any privacy question, contact us at hello@jointerrain.com.
What we collect
When you submit the "register interest" form, we collect only what you provide:
- Your name and work email (required)
- Your firm/organisation and role (optional)
- Any message you choose to add (optional)
- A record that you consented to be contacted
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool that sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and collects no personal data. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details solely to respond to your interest in Terrain — to send early-access information, arrange a walkthrough, and keep you updated about the product. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that operate this form and our email, acting as our processors:
- Web3Forms — delivers form submissions to our inbox.
- Cloudflare — hosts this website (CDN) and provides cookieless Web Analytics.
- Our email provider — receives and stores the submission to our inbox.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until you ask us to delete them, or until they're no longer needed for the purpose above (up to 24 months after our last contact), whichever is sooner.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@jointerrain.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this notice; the "last updated" date above will always show the current version.
